In an effort to give back to our team members and the community, we decided that throughout the year a team member would choose a charity of their choice and share their personal story of why that cause was important to them, then we would highlight their story and cause for an entire month. For each five star review the team received during that team members’ month, we would donate $50. In addition, for Memorial Day, we decided to restore a local Veteran’s memorial and when Christmas time was around the corner, we decided to come together as a team and raise money for shoes to be donated to a drive for those in need.
None of this would be possible without our team members and our customers, so with that, thank you!

Casey has been a hardworking and dedicated team member of Perfect Paver Co of Southwest Florida since August of 2020. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in helping the company grow and thrive. From his very first day on the job, it was obvious he was going to be an incredible asset to the team and Perfect Paver as a whole. Since that day, he continues to prove himself over and over again.
Casey was born and raised in Denver, Colorado to a very hardworking family to say the least. He is one of 4 siblings including his two brothers and an “awesome” sister to which he is extremely close. His father, a bricklayer started bringing Casey to job sites at just 5 years old. He was not brought there to observe, his father put 5-year-old Casey straight to work. He would help his father with anything he could and was unknowingly creating a strong and dedicated work ethic from a young age.
Although they were thriving in Colorado, winters can be brutal when working outside. During these winters, the family would travel from state to state enjoying the adventure and looking for opportunities. This travel was necessary and lucrative, but they would always end up back in Denver. As a kid, to make a little extra cash, Casey would work with his father during the summers. Casey was extremely close to his father and looked up to him. These summer jobs started to lay the foundation for his professional future. It was while doing this Casey learned the definition of hard work and the value of a dollar. He also learned all of the many important lessons and values a father passes down to his son. “I always looked up to my dad growing up and appreciated the trades he taught me, they all had substance to them.” Said Casey
“After high school, my father’s paver business really started to grow.” Said Casey. The business was able to secure a lot of large contracts. The majority of these large contracts were located in Las Vegas, so the family decided to pack up and move to Sin City. At this point, Casey was in his early 20’s. They were able to join the union out there. “Everything was unionized” Stated Casey. It was during this experience that Casey was really able to sink his feet into the world of pavers, especially the commercial side.
Although Casey and his family were experiencing success, this line of work can be brutal and without a doubt, very taxing on your body. Casey thought, “I might have to find something else to do because my body can’t take this anymore!” So, Casey made a complete 180-degree career change and decided to go into the restaurant business. As always, Casey threw himself into his new career and had a blast doing it. He did this for many years, but the world of pavers was always on his mind and was slowly calling him back.
Casey’s dedication to family was always his priority. His family craved a new start and new adventure. His love for traveling to new places and the fact that his lovely wife Erica had family in South Florida allowed them to pack their bags and head down to the sunshine state. This was perfect for Casey as he is an avid golfer and Florida has some beautiful courses for him to enjoy in his free time. This new and exciting chapter of Casey’s life began down on the west coast of South Florida. He found Perfect Paver Co. and was incredibly interested in the side of pavers he had not yet experienced. The paver restoration process was a whole new world and one he found extremely interesting and rewarding. “The worse the pavers are, the better for me. The before and after are what it’s all about. I can look at the before and after photos and know that I did this. I was able to transform these pavers with my own hands and hard work. It gives me a sense of pride and worth.” Casey excitedly stated
Working for Perfect Paver was a culmination of decades of paver experience and a true pride for the profession. “I am so proud of myself with every job that I do. There is an immense amount of satisfaction on the days with a completely terrible and almost unrenewable before and transforming it into a pristine after” says Casey
One of Casey’s favorite parts of the job is the customer experience and relationship. Instead of having to rip out the area and start all over, Casey is able to give the customer a total transformation and see the look on their happy faces. This restoration process brings him true happiness. He is a team member of Perfect Paver who truly loves his job. “I start every day and every job as though it were my first day, with the same enthusiasm. I love week after week producing happy customers.” States Casey

Week after week we are thrilled at the amazing growth Casey has shown. He has played an instrumental role in developing the West Coast of Florida with his outstanding attitude, and ability to be an awesome team player. “I had the pleasure of working with Casey his first month and half on the job. He always had such a positive outlook in every situation and brought out the best in me. He gives 100% on every job. He’s more than just a coworker, he’s a good friend and we have each other’s backs”, said Ethan. Casey’s goal is to really solidify the West Coast of Florida with a great team and watch it continue to thrive and grow. We have no doubt Casey’s goals will be achieved and are honored to have him as a Perfect Paver team member.

Mark, the owner of Perfect Paver had set an impressive goal for the team to reach. If this goal was achieved, the whole team and their significant others would be treated to a Christmas vacation getaway. The team worked tirelessly to reach this goal and, as always, provide the absolute best possible customer service. These men and women worked in the office and outside in the heat, rain, and cold temperatures of Ohio and South Florida and within only three months, this goal was achieved. Would you expect anything less from the team at Perfect Paver?
The Christmas vacation planning could begin! The idea, set by Perfect Paver’s very own Mark and Katie, was to make every employee feel valued and cared for. After some research, it was decided the Diamond Beach Resort on Ft. Meyers Beach, Florida would be the location for this well-deserved getaway. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend their winter vacation sitting on a beach in South Florida sipping cocktails by the ocean.
After waiting and anticipating, the time had finally come for the vacation to begin. The weather was perfection. They arrived to a perfect, clear, 80-degree weekend. The ocean of Florida’s beautiful West Coast was crisp, clear, and blue. This Resort was located on Estero Island in Ft. Meyers Beach. As everyone arrived at the Resort, they were drenched in sunshine and the sound of live music coming from the Cabana Bar. Every team member entered into their very own ocean front suite with a breathtaking view from each and every room.
That first night, the team members that had arrived early all met up at Dixie Fish Co. This was a beautiful waterfront restaurant with the classic feel of a Florida fish house. It was overlooking Matanzas Bay with not one bad view in the house. This location truly made you feel as though the vacation had begun. It was a lively dinner filled with laughter, appreciation speeches (complete with a mallet), and of course, delicious food.
The next day, the remainder of the team members arrived. Every single one of them had a giant smile on their faces and were filled with the energy of utter excitement and gratitude. The team had a leisurely day enjoying the ocean, pool, and tiki bar. There were jet skis, kayaks, and paddleboards for those who wanted some adventure and lounge chairs with umbrellas for those who wanted relaxation. An impromptu game of volleyball started which turned into a very popular daily game. It was a great way for everyone to have some competitive fun at the beach while working together (and working on their tan of course).
Later that day, the whole team was set to meet on the beach at sunset to get a Perfect Paver team member photo. This is a very close company with everyone always working and communicating together to get the job done, but it is not often that they all meet up in person. The team members all caught up and shared stories and lots of laughter. Some spectacular photos were captured thanks to Perfect Paver’s very own Skylar as well as the backdrop of the gorgeous sunset.
That night, everyone headed to Tiki Tiki Bar. The team got to let loose and enjoy their time with one another. They played pool all night and Mike, a Perfect Paver alumnus even went onstage to sing a Bush song Via karaoke. This night was so much fun and the team got a chance to relax and just really have a great time together. “This might have been the highlight of the vacation for me. We all had such a great time together and I enjoyed seeing everyone have fun. Mark wouldn’t stop singing, “Livin in this big blue world, I know I’ll be A-O-K” It was so cool to see the boss have such a great time. I’m so proud to work for Perfect Paver and this vacation showed me how much we are all appreciated.” Said Ethan
The next night was the annual Christmas dinner. This restaurant was chosen by Leah, who also had the very important and very successful task of all the detailed planning that went into this vacation. Leah picked the perfect dinner location of Matanzas on the bay. This restaurant was peacefully located on the water and just steps away from the beach. There was live music and even a rainbow made a guest appearance to brighten the event. “Mark and Katie’s goal was to make our employees feel valued and cared for and they definitely achieved that goal.” Said Leah. Everyone had such a great time enjoying the live music, ambiance, and delicious food. The Christmas dinner was a moment for all of the team members to sit down, relax and get to know each other outside of work. Mark and Katie shared a Champagne toast in appreciation for everyone’s contribution to making this company what it is. Mark exclaimed his devotion as the owner and his utter respect and appreciation for every single member of this team. “The sky is the limit and as we grow and thrive as a company, you as a team member will grow and thrive. This is such an awesome group and I am enjoying getting to know each one of you more. Said, Mark. Katie wanted to make sure everyone felt valued, respected, and appreciated and her goal did not fall short.
Throughout this entire vacation, the common theme shared by every employee was sincere appreciation for Perfect Paver. The conversations were that of real gratitude and the remarkable impact working for Perfect Paver has on their lives. Becoming a team member is truly becoming part of a family where you feel valued and respected. It’s a team that works together daily towards a common goal to make the company and everyone who works there as successful as possible. “What an amazing gift from my company, a vacation weekend in Ft. Meyers Beach. Doug and I enjoyed spending time with family and co-workers. We are beyond blessed to have so many amazing people in our lives.” Said Mary. This vacation was the icing on the cake of what was another magnificent year for everyone at Perfect Paver. The sky is truly the limit for Perfect Paver and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for next year. Did someone say Hawaii?
Caroline and Lee originally had decided to go with a contractor who ended up not having the proper expertise to repair their pavers, and even made them much worse, however when they decided they wanted it done correctly, they decided to call us. Watch them talk about their journey!
Greg and his wife live in a beautiful colonial-style home in Dublin, Ohio. They are so proud of this home and really wanted to maximize the outdoor space. In its current state, they went the whole summer without ever using the patio. Greg’s wife finally put her foot down stating “we have got to do something with this patio!” As it stood, the area desperately needed a refresh so Greg and his wife decided it was time to repair and restore this area into a space they could use and appreciate.
Greg originally called a company that did quite the opposite of a beautiful restoration. The company led with low expectations and little to no communication. They seemed to come up with excuse after excuse as to why they were not completing the job properly or within an acceptable amount of time. Greg had enough and decided to call the owner of the company directly. The owner came out to take a look and agreed the job was a disaster. He also told Greg, “What you’re looking for is not possible, your patio is too old and your expectations are unrealistic.” Greg’s patio was only five years old so he knew it was time to cut ties and find someone he could trust, communicate with and who would do the job properly.
After some online searching, Greg found Perfect Paver. He quickly knew this was the company to fix their situation. From the minute Greg filled out the drop-down form on the website, he was thoroughly impressed. The form stated someone would call him the next day, and right on time, Greg had the pleasure of speaking with Katie, Perfect Paver’s project coordinator. Katie and Greg were able to discuss all important information, expectations, and goals. They were able to communicate everything needed from the phone call to move forward with the project. Katie told Greg someone would be contacting him within two weeks to be put on the schedule. That is precisely what Perfect Paver did. During these beginning stages of communication, Greg was impressed with how accurate and user-friendly the whole process was. He already knew he was in good hands with Perfect Paver.
Greg soon received a call from Zach, the lead technician assigned to the job. Zach called to inform him he would like to come and take a look at the patio and discuss the project details. Zach and Devan, the technicians assigned to this project, went to get an overview of the situation. Greg explained the disaster of the previous job and immediately Zach saw all of the mistakes that were made. Zach explained how the previous situation was not done correctly and what it would entail to fix everything the old company had damaged. They discussed in detail what Greg’s goals were for the job and how the techs were going to go about restoring this botched patio bringing it back to a beautiful and useable space.
Greg’s expectations and goals were perfectly obtainable and achievable for the technicians of Perfect Paver. From the moment Zach and Devan arrived, Greg was impressed with the knowledge and skill these techs had. “Zach and Devan were professional, friendly and humble. I could tell they truly cared about their work and took pride in their career. They showed up on time, prepared and enthusiastic every day”, Said Greg. Greg was kept informed of every detail. “Zach had excellent communication and was a great guy that did an incredible job.” Said Greg.
The techs stripped off the old sealer and cleaned up the damage done. The final step of this job was sealing the pavers. The team sealed them on a Saturday, completing the job. Just two hours later, Greg and his wife were surprised by a massive monsoon that hit the area, slamming their neighborhood with many inches of rain for a few hours. Although Zach explained the possibility of rain and how it wouldn’t hurt the sealing process, Greg was still very worried. Greg decided to send Zach a text informing him of his concerns. Zach responded immediately calming his concerns. Zach showed up the next day to take a look at the area and make sure the excessive amount of rain didn’t do any damage. Zach explained the pavers just needed to dry and all would be good, but if he had any concerns, they would be more than happy to address them. Zach stated, “The owner does not put the word Perfect on the side of the trucks for no reason!” It was excellent communication and initiative that Greg sincerely appreciated.
The whole process from beginning to end was extremely impressive. For not one moment was Greg left wondering, “Where are these guys?” Greg anticipated the project taking a couple of weeks, but it was done in 3 consecutive days which Greg was thrilled about. Greg was blown away at how client-friendly the company is which really made the whole process easy and smooth. Greg exclaimed “With Perfect Paver, you don’t feel like you are working with a contractor or a big business. With those guys, sometimes weeks go by and you haven’t heard from anyone. They come and start the job and then you don’t see them for a while.” Said Greg. This of course was not the case with Perfect Paver. “It was an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process. You fill out the form and someone contacts you immediately. From then on, every step of the way, you are kept in constant contact with someone and informed of the next step. The communication was paramount and you can tell the employees care about what they do,” said Greg. “I was so impressed with everyone at Perfect Paver every step of the way and after my experience, I know why they put the word Perfect in Perfect Paver, it’s in there for a reason!”
Throughout the year, we partner with our teammates to raise awareness and money for causes important to them personally.
In October, we’ve partnered with our teammate Max to raise awareness and make a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
During the month of October, each time a client lets us know that our team delivered a 5 star experience, Perfect Paver Co will make a $50 donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on behalf of Max.
We’re looking forward to seeing how our team will work together this month creating raving fans to support Max and his cause.

It was a day filled with excitement, fun and bucket list cross off’s for the South Florida team of Perfect Paver. The incredible success that Perfect Paver Co. has is attributed to the hard work and dedication each team member shows daily. It was time for these team members to be treated to an exciting day off and be shown just how much they are appreciated and valued. What better way to do this than a beautiful day out on the ocean deep-sea fishing?
The day was carefully planned in detail with everyone’s enjoyment in mind. Some of the team members piled in the large SUV with Ethan as their driver. During the drive, the guys shared in their excitement and anticipation of the day. As they say, it’s the journey, not the destination that creates some of the best memories. Casey M shared, “I enjoyed the ride down with all of the team members. We all did a bunch of laughing and joking around. The whole day was awesome, but this was definitely my favorite part.”
They arrived at the Lady Pamela 2, the charter boat that was hired for the day – a 50′ custom-built sportfishing boat. This was a unique opportunity for some of the team who love to fish but have never gone out to sea on such a large and beautiful boat. The water that day was calm, crisp, and clear. There were plenty of snacks, lots of drinks, and Dramamine if anyone needed it. (Luckily, no one did!)
The day was nothing short of eventful. After three hours of bottom fishing and catching nothing, the team asked the captain if they could switch to trolling. The first mate set rod’s up off the boat and the captain started trolling around covering large areas. Not even 30 seconds went by when someone started yelling, “FISH ON, FISH ON!!” Moments later another and then another. Everyone started running around in excitement trying to real in a line as fast as possible.
For Mike, this experience was on his bucket list. “This was a special day for me. Especially since I always do my fishing from land. I’ve always wanted to go deep-sea fishing and catch a Mahi- mahi.” Ethan who likes to do some fishing in his spare time had a particularly great day as well. “Being able to troll changed the dynamic of the whole trip. This got everyone amped up and it was cool seeing everyone have so much fun.” Not only did they catch the sought-after Mahi- mahi, but they caught snapper, and strawberry grouper.
They even caught a surprise package, what is known as a “square grouper” here in South Florida. The team was shocked when they fished a securely wrapped package that looked like it fell right off of a cartel boat. They alerted the coast guard who met them back at the dock to pick it up.
After a successful day of fishing, the team got back to the boat slip and made their way to dinner. Tiki Tiki was the restaurant picked for its perfect location, fresh seafood, and ideal atmosphere. The chef took their freshly caught fish fillets and created appetizers for the table. This was a first for Mike who before this trip would not eat seafood. “After we brought the fillets to the restaurant to be prepared, I decided I was going to try it, and I did!! This trip has left me with a whole new assortment of dishes I can enjoy for the rest of my life. It took catching the damn fish, but I actually like seafood now!” Said Mike. The guys had an amazing night out and enjoyed their dinner and drinks while catching up and sharing their own unique stories of the day.
The day went perfectly from beginning to end and these Perfect Paver team members deserved every minute of it. “I’m so proud to work with this team. We work so hard together and I’m happy we’re able to play hard together. This entire day was a blast and well deserved by everyone one of us.” Said Mark.
Casey G said, “By far this was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time, and it was awesome to see all of us be able to hang out and enjoy the day. I appreciate the amount of time and effort that went into this trip which makes me realize all of our hard work is appreciated.” Max, one of the east coast team members said, “The whole trip, in general, was great. I was able to meet team members I have never met. The whole experience was amazing. I’ve never caught a Mahi-mahi before and have always wanted to do that.”
There’s no greater feeling than knowing you are valued and appreciated as an employee and that was precisely the goal of the day, to say thank you to everyone who makes this company what it is. The strength and success of Perfect Paver as a company is a direct result of each individual team member contributing to the team’s success. On this day particularly fun day, it was so nice to be able to contribute to the excitement and happiness they all truly deserve.
